The 2004 'eS Footwear Team Riders:

The 'eS team just returned from a trip on the east coast, which included a stop at the 10th annual Tampa Pro Contest, and 'eS's very own Rick McCrank tore up the competition with backside 360 nosegrings on the fun box ledge, very stylish tailslides through the quarterpipe corner, kickflip 5-0s up the Euro gap ledge, 360 Flips over the huge pyramid, huge melons to fakie on the quarterpipe and switch krooks across the pyramid flat bar, he was really on Fire. Rick took the 2nd place trophy and was still happy on his performance, Me personaly, I think Rick should have taken first! Good Job Crankster!

Es Footwear since 1995...

'eS Footwear started in 1995, it is a part of Sole Technologies, which consist of Emerica, Etnies, 32, and Es Footwear. 'eS has been a big part of the skateboard indusrtry since its first appereance. The orginal line-up for 'eS back in 1996 was; Eric Koston, Chad Muska, Tom Penny, Ronnie Creager, Bob Burnquist, Paul Sharpe, and Sal Barbier. The team started to chage when Chad Muska started up Circa Footwear, Sal Barbier went to Etnies, and i'm not sure what Paul Sharpe went to. I think that the most worn 'eS shoe is the Accel, which was introduced in 1996, and the Koston 1, which was designed in 1997 or so. Now recently, four important 'eS team members left the team, First, Arto Saari left to Etnies, Mike Taylor went to DVS, Bob Burnquist went either on Hurley Footwear or an un-know Brazilian Shoe company, and Paul Rodriguez recently left in November 2003, he went on to Nike SB. Hopefully 'eS continues to stay strong and always be there for the skateboard community...
